Abstract
Increasingly, more and more people are aware of Islamic economic issues such as zakat and will. As the world evolves, current issues should now be discussed in more detail as the references in the Quran and sunnah are limited. So here, researchers are trying to study current issues related to zakat and will. Zakat is an instrumental fund that is recognized as an economic instrument that can reduce the poverty rate. While wasiyyah is to link the good that a person gets from his property during his life with the good that follows him from the same property after his death, which is the reward he will have in the hereafter for the good done by him on the property. There are issues that arise that are discussed such as the ruling of paying zakat to the bloodied or the immediate group and the distribution of wills to outsiders including children and wives as well as parents-in-law.
