Weaknesses & effectiveness of creosote as a wood preservative / Shubri Wagiman

In this study, creosote as one of the popular of wood preservative was chosen. It had been used enormously throughout the world. It has been used since nineteen century and commercially in wood industry through preservation process. It is commercially made from coal tar with different of specification to suit different application. It is an effective wood preservative. The effectiveness of creosote has been studied from many methods and tests. But, it is not enough and practical. So, many observation and analysis had been made through it experience of services. Also, from that study, the weaknesses and problems of creosote had been identified and, it effectiveness is impaired. So, in this project, it contain the accumulation of facts of study on the weakness and effectiveness of creosote as a wood preservative.
