Abstract

Rubberwood as an important agriculture plantation in Malaysia early it was introduced until now. Hevea brasiliensis is scientific name for rubber tree. The rubber tree has classification in-group C as a lightwood. In Malaysia, estate and smallholders is who are planted with rubber trees. The smallholder's owner by RISDA, FELDA, FELCRA and smallholding individually, estates owner ranged between public and private companies. Rubberwood has received good response from utilizations in wood industries. For long-term supply, clones considered appropriate for alternative are those provide for timber and latex because it was very fast growth. Rubberwood have many uses in wood product and furniture is the major market for Rubberwood. It was an important raw material because most successful plantation, easily and shaped with machine, instead from the natural forest, the supply of long term with new planted as clones and the major market demand is increase for every year in wood based industry. Cooperate between government and private sector is vital to ensure success in the Rubberwood such as a raw material for wood based industry.
