Abstract
This project aims to create an armchair that draws inspiration from nature. The designer has taken the features and shape of the turtle into consideration, creating an armchair suitable for farmhouse settings. Carrotera, an armchair inspired by turtles, particularly the turtle box, aims to create fascinating furniture appearances inspired by the patterns found on the shells and legs of turtles. For the user's comfort, the plywood bending method is used to create the backrest. Metal is used for the main frame, providing a sturdy base for the concept of low-back furniture. An additional interesting aspect is the bean bag set within the semi-circle frame of this chair. Natural-inspired furniture designs also raise awareness of turtles, which are beautiful in their own right.
