Abstract

This research study is about evaluating a training program of 'Kursus Singkat' by Pembangunan Keluarga Tani(PKT) Unit. This research study able to reveal the participant's opinion about the effectiveness of the training program and part of the outcome of the training program. The three main objectives of this research is to identify the factor of effectiveness and factor of ineffectiveness of the training program followed by the suggestions and ways to improve 'Kursus Singkat' by Pembangunan Keluarga Tani Unit. Questionnaire had been distributed to two hundreds ex-participant of the training program. Due to the limitation and constraint faced by researcher, the researcher able to get 125 questionnaires back from the respondents. This research covered five areas in Kota Kinabalu; Penampang, Putatan, Inanam, Menggatal and Sepanggar. The effectiveness factors were designed by the researcher in the theoretical framework. According to the findings, majority of the respondents 'agree' to the effectiveness factor stated. However, the positive feedback does not inline with outcomes. It shows that the objective of PKT unit was not fully achieved yet.
