Industrial training report: JKR Perlis

As I am one step closer to end my Bachelor’s degree, I am very honoured to carry out my internship at JKR Perlis, the Public Works Department. JKR is a government agency responsible for planning, designing, and implementing public infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, and water supply systems. Each state in Malaysia has its own JKR office to oversee and manage construction and maintenance projects within that particular region. As an intern with the knowledge of Business Administration and Finance, I was placed at The Administrative Department. I contribute my skills and passion to assist in various tasks essential to the efficient functioning of the office. Apart from roles and responsibilities, the objective of my internship is to analyse the strength, weakness, opportunity and threat covering some of the aspects such as political, economic, social, technology, environmental and legal relating to JKR Perlis. The findings of the SWOT Analysis that I conducted in my internship company provide valuable input to me as understanding of the internal and external factors affecting JKR Perlis is crucial for long-term success and sustainability. To conclude, this report will serve as proof to my valuable experiences and skills acquired during the 6 months of internship at JKR Perlis.
