Industrial training report: UMT Jaya Holdings Sdn Bhd / Ainin Sofea Md Azman

The internship is the final course for all undergraduate programs in the Faculty of Business and Management, as based on the study plan. Undertaking an internship or receiving on-the-job training in fields associated with our academic program and area of focus is mandatory for students. This internship course provides a hands-on learning environment where students can acquire real-world information and workplace skills that offer experience in the industry and responsibility when completing duties set by the organization. It would improve attitude, knowledge, and practical abilities for completing the assignment. My memorable and enlightening 6 months industrial training began here at UMT Jaya Holdings Sdn. Bhd. Before beginning my internship, I prepared necessary documents such as a resume, cover letter, and others to be submitted to the chosen organization for internship placement. I was seeking an internship that offered a position in the HR department because it is relevant to my course throughout my degree.
UMT Jaya Holdings has accepted my application to undergo an internship at the company for a total of 6 months. UMT Jaya Holdings Sdn Bhd is located in Kuala Nerus, Terengganu. As a company that wholly owned by Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), it is responsible to generate additional income to the UMT. The company has assigned me to be in the Corporate Services Department which includes HR and Finance employees.
All students were assigned in groups with one advisor and one examiner. Miss Nik Azlina Nik Abdullah was the lecturer who became my advisor during the industrial training period. The total credit hours for HRM666 are 12, and students are required to undergo internship at the selected organization for a total of 6 months.
