Abstract
Two group sample which is male and female nurse (N =60) are participated in this research.it including female (N=3I) and male (N= 29) subject for this study. The purpose of the study to investigate the level of stress among nurse with different gender at private hospital. Nurse scale index (NSI) was used to examine level of stress among nurse. The questionnaire was distributed by randomly and about 11 until 14 nurses were by department. Have 6- dimension I the questionnaire which is workload pressure, workload pressure due to resources and conflict, organizational support and involvement, dealing with patients and relatives, home and ward conflict and confidence and competence in role. The result show the higher by gender such as workload pressure male (Mean=3.30, SD=0.5I) , workload pressure due to resources and conflict male (Mean=3.59, SD=0.47), organizational support and involvement female ( Mean=3.70, SD=0.45), dealing with patients and relatives male(Mean=3.57, SD=0.52), home and ward female (Mean=3.65 , SD=0.7I), confidence and competence in role male (Mean=3.69, SD=O.60).
