Abstract
Throughout my internship at Rentokil Initial, I was placed in Administration Department, as a Centralized Service Support (CSS) I developed a thorough insight of the internal processes of a world class pest control company. I was mostly in charge of answering calls, emails, and chat requests from customers and handling their inquiries. I gained knowledge on how to ensure that customers' demands were satisfied in a timely and expert manner in addition to offering quick and efficient answers to their problems.
In addition, I helped with technician scheduling, which involved organizing appointments, liaising with technicians, and guaranteeing that appointments were planned successfully and efficiently. Even though the department is a bit off track from what I supposed to be in, the processes and challenges I need to deal with is quite similar with HR. I still need to be handle internal and external people. This indirectly gave me the opportunity to study on human behaviour.
All things considered, this internship gave me a comprehensive grasp of the administrative procedures needed to manage a pest control company, knowledge that will be quite useful in my future work in this industry.
