Jambari, Hanifah (1995) Development of an ultrasonic listening device / Hanifah Jambari. Advanced Diploma thesis, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).

Abstract

This project describes the studies and construction of an Ultrasonic Listening Device winch can convert the ultrasound to audible sound up to 5 meters, It is built in a gun configuration with a barrel housing which is suitable as a detector and easy to carry anywhere. The system connate of two main parts namely transmitter and receiver, It is designed for (he partial discharge detection in high voltage components such as m gas-insulated switchgear and the firing of spark gaps. The device contains the necessary batteries and provides a convenient method to get final assembly circuit Simulation was carried out at oscillator part to predict me performance of the proposed system as a solution to problems. Experimental test were performed on schematic diagram of the overall project.
