Abstract
This course is aimed at giving students an understanding of the economic aspects of the construction industry, its changing market structures, its impact on managers and construction organisations from a local, national, regional and international markets perspectives. In addition, the course focuses on the managerial skills of opportunity assessments, and the development of long term strategies for improved organisational competitiveness. The students are assessed by coursework only.
