INA512: Furniture Design I / College of Built Environment

The course covers the history of furniture in brief and emphasizes toward the types, materials, design and styles of furniture's. Students are expose to the knowledge and skills in selecting types of furniture according to a project needs. Students are then introduce to the design of loose furniture and built-in furniture focusing on the study of material and finishes used, fittings, design detailings and the production of detail drawings.
