Abstract

This course is designed for the students to strengthen the acting skills as the preparation of becoming an actor. It is shaped to train the students to coordinate the main three elements in acting which are the physicality, emotions and speech. This course expose the students in analysing the text as the main tools for the actor in understanding the demand of the scripts. Next, shaping the actors’ body as flexibility and body coordination are vital. Thus, the students too are required to be able in developing the creativity, creating the characteristics of the characters, expressing vividly the emotional strength of an actor and demonstrate the combination of several acting styles and techniques. The students are also demanded to display high stamina, focus and actors discipline.
