An occupational health and safety assessment series (OHSAS) 18001 implementation: a case study in CMS Cement Sdn Bhd (Kuching) / Ahmad Termizi Sapri@Yet

This report is about Occupational Safety and Health Assessment Series (OSHAS) implementation. A case study in CMS Cement Sdn Bhd. The
overall objective of study is to study the implantation of OHSAS in CMS Cement Sdn Bhd. a study done to determine level of awareness, level of
understanding and effectiveness of OHSAS activities. The activities involved that I used in my study is given by the QA Manager Mr. Alzian Mohd Kassim. Therefore I will determine awareness, understanding and effectiveness of routine activities given. There were 63 numbers of respondents were involved in this study. 5 point bipolar Likert Scale was used to categorize and measure the respondent’s degree of views. In this study, statistics involve were those of frequency distributions, percentage, mean scores. The analysis showed the result of most of respondent’s not really aware of OHSAS activities. In term of understanding, some respondent are aware but most are likely aware of OHSAS activities. Through the finding analysis of this study hopefully will help to increase the level of awareness, understanding and effectiveness thus help the organization manage their OHSM system in order to have better performance in OHSM system.
