The determinants of health expenditure in Malaysia.

Abstract
The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Life Expectancy (LE), Infant Mortality (IM), and population of aged 65 above (POP) to the Malaysia Health Expenditure. The study used Multiple Linear Regression in order to find the relationship among those variables. The yearly time series is used starting on 1987 to 2017. From the result, it reveals that Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and Life expectancy (LE) have significant positive relationship towards Malaysia Health Expenditure. Besides that, the result also indicate that Infant Mortality and population of aged 65 above is insignificant and negative relationship toward Malaysia Health Expenditure.
