The implementation of electronic data interchange Kelang Container Terminal Berhad / Nazri Ismail

The purpose of this study is to identify the problem in the movement of documents and find whether the implementation of electronic data interchange can solve the existence problem. Among the problems identified are , (i) slow movement of documentation, (ii) delay in the submission of documentation, (iii) delay in cargo clearance because of documentation, (iv) the movement of documentation at present involve a lot of manpower, and (v) present system involves a high cost.
