IDT301 : Diploma project II / Faculty of Art and Design

This subject introduces students to designing products for specific purposes at a more advanced level, and builds on knowledge gained in the previous semester. At this more advance level, more emphasis will be put on the comprehension to understand the functional areas and phases involved in the design development, and delivery of technology and products from strategy and customer needs through conceptual design, modeling or prototyping, and selection material to manufacturing. Presentation skills are further developed with the execution off detailed models of product designs, and the use of computer skills for presentation and engineering drawing.
