Abstract

The increasing number of interests in entrepreneurship from all over the world signifies that it has become a key driver of economic growth and development for each country. Meanwhile, entrepreneurship also becoming one of the alternatives for young people to reduce the unemployment rate and create new job opportunities within the market. This research aims to study the predictive factors of entrepreneurship educations, personal attributes, social norms and perceived structural supports that influencing the entrepreneurial intention among youth in Malaysia. It is a quantitative study where a sample of 384 respondents of youth aged between 15 to 30 years old were collected throughout the country including Sabah and Sarawak territory using survey questionnaire. The finding revealed strong and positive relationship between all independent variables of entrepreneurship educations, personal attributes, social norms and perceived structural support toward the dependent variable of entrepreneurial intention among Malaysian youth. The result presented in this study also can provide valuable insight as well as recommendations on possible actions for the problems stated and the outcomes.
