Abstract
The objective of this study is to examine the factors that contribute to the level of awareness regarding the concept of federalism among students enrolled in the Faculty of Administrative Science and Policy Studies (FSPPP) at UiTM Samarahan 2. Federalism is a multifaceted political framework that assumes a pivotal function in the governance of heterogeneous societies. A comprehensive grasp of federalism is imperative for students pursuing studies in administrative science and policy, as it offers valuable insights into the allocation of power, the mechanisms of decision-making, and the structures of governance. The study employs a quantitative research methodology, utilising surveys as the primary data collection instrument to gather information from students enrolled in the FSPPP. The survey encompasses various aspects, such as demographic characteristics, educational history, exposure to political science courses, and patterns of media consumption. The measurement of federalism awareness is assessed through the utilisation of Likert-scale ratings. The results ofthis study enhance comprehension of the variables that impact federalism awareness among students enrolled in the the Faculty of Administrative Science and Policy Studies (FSPPP) at UiTM Samarahan 2 provide valuable insights for the development of educational approaches. The objective ofthis study is to augment understanding of federalism and its significance within the field of administrative science and policy studies.
