Abstract
The course offers an introduction to the study of short stories by focusing on selected short stories of multiple genres. The course will emphasize close reading and analysis of different short stories as well as the studying of the processes, techniques, craft and style of short story formation. Students are expected to apply their understanding of short story forms, contexts and techniques through a series of workshops and creative exercises.
