Abstract
This introductory course exposes students to the history of art in western and non-western countries from pre-historic to post-modernism and from Egyptian Art, Islamic Art to Chinese Art of paintings, sculptures and architecture. The course focuses on development of movements/periods and styles through the influence of political, social and religion beliefs throughout the world. Students will have opportunities to incorporate these elements and principles in their discussion and learning experience in the programme they attended.
