Abstract

This is also a subject has been designed for both textile and a non textile students who is aiming for a career in the resist media and is interested in studying the media from the academic perspective. The basic general grounding in all aspects of resist both designing and process is taught during semester 3. After that, students have more and more choice in semester 4 and 5, allowing them to concentrate on the things that interest them most Creative Resist is a structured programmed of technical exercise which bring together the skills necessary for developing 2 or 3D form. Students will explore the creative design process from wax and non wax techniques to the usage of the combination materials. This involves creativity, problem solving, and off loom and loom skills, theoretical understanding in the specialist subject areas, and the effective design ideas.
