Abstract

Writing short film sets the basis for students to learn about the art and craft of storytelling. It is a fundamental skill that helps them to write a script for feature film in the future. The course introduces students from the conceptualization of the idea to narrative structure creations. And of course, will end with the writing a script for screen. Students are exposed to the basic characteristics of writing short film that are engaging and appealing. Each student’s work will be discussed and commented in several workshop sessions.
