FFT113 : Stagecraft / College of Creative Arts

This course would introduce students to the various aspects of the art of making theater. It encompasses the organization - roles of the production team, stage management - how to manage actors and rehearsals as well as performances, directing, rehearsals and the artistic aspects of a production. Students are expected to grasp the craft of staging plays as well as enriching the environment of the play with its setting,mood and costumes. This course is to train future practitioners of Malaysian Theater the possibilities of creating spectacles, an important element in a theater performance.
