Instrak Venture Capital Berhad / Nurul Izzah Razlan

Industrial training report is explained about my internship journey at Instrak Venture Capital Berhad for six months which 24 weeks were given to completed as part of subject MGT666 as part of academic requirement by Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). My internship training will take place at Petaling Jaya, Selangor which the second branches of Instrak Venture Capital Berhad from 15 March 2023 until 25 August 2023. Instrak Venture Capital Berhad is the venture capital provides funds to start-ups and small businesses with high development potential, according to investors. In this case, small businesses with outstanding growth potential or those that grow quickly and seem set to keep growing frequently receive venture capital funds. This report is separated into several sections and begins with an important part which is to introduce the company’s profile. The next section is a reflection of industrial training, which covers each of the skills or benefits that are applied and learned during industrial training. The report's main findings are regarding some aspects of the company, such as its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, which are shown in the SWOT analysis section. In the discussion and recommendation section, all elements gained from the company are discussed. Besides, industrial training report also gives a student the exposure towards the reality of working environment in particular fields. Apart of that, training with Instrak Venture Capital organization helps me gain several skills and build a soft and hard skills such as in administrative, system and controlling, data entry and data analysis that give a opportunity with finance industry. To conclude, as a finance student doing industrial training at venture capital company give me a lot of knowledge towards finance motivation where I can leverage my theories during my studies, understanding market research or market audience, attending board meeting where I were given a chance to observe how the management set up the company goals, target and achievement within time frame. From this give me more focus, motivation and inspired them to strive into a successful people in finance industry in future.
