Matrix Concepts Holdings Berhad / Nurul Jannah Fatehah Kamarul Zaman

Experiencing an internship at Matrix Concepts Holdings Berhad for six months has been wondrous for me. As a final-year student in finance at the UiTM campus in Bandaraya Melaka, it is a very good opportunity for me to learn many new things involving real work-life experience. I have been assigned to the Credit Control Department, which is somehow related to things that I learned during my previous semester. Basically, the business nature of Matrix is a property developer. The company has successfully expanded its business by involving in a few industries, such as healthcare, education, and construction. Therefore, in this report, I included all of my discussion and summarised the company background, reflections on my internship, including my tasks, and new things I have learned. The primary focus of this report is to analyze the company's SWOT based on the things I have observed, read, and perceived. Analyzing the strengths of the company will allow me to determine the company's competencies to achieve their goal. On the other hand, weaknesses are the company's internal issues that need to be handled immediately to avoid further problems. Meanwhile, evaluating external opportunities can help the company take advantage of them and receive a positive return. Next, threats to the company are used to list out circumstances that can have a direct impact on company performance. (Kenton, 2023) Last but not least, I propose a few potentials and suggestions based on the SWOT analysis that might help the company continue striving in the future. 1anticipate that the new approach I propose in this report will help the company achieve its long-term objectives.
