VCM771: Research, Documentation and Background Studies / College of Creative Arts

This course will facilitate students to document and conduct research from various approaches such as Historical and Theoritical. Concepts such as the analysis of research content together with critical theory, debate, representation and identity, terminologies and policies in design documentation will be introduced. In these way ideas, models found in books and journals, disseminated and taught in class can be tested against what actually happens in the real world, and students can develop a stronger understanding of their fields and will be able to document them.
