Abstract
This course aims to introduce the students with the history and development of Malaysian cartoon and caricature in relation to the socio-cultural development of the country. The focus will be on the aspect of chronology, the continuity and change of styles, themes, humour and satire. The course will focus on cartoonists, caricaturists and the media that publish strip and editorial cartoons.
