VCS400: Introduction to Theory of Art / College of Creative Arts

The Theory of Art involves the study of visual culture and, in particular the art images and objects. This encourages students to broaden their perspectives and to challenge established perceptions and views. The Theory of Art will build a foundation the capacity for lifelong learning and enable to keep abreast of a changing world. It gives students a breadth of knowledge and make them aware of the wider understanding about art. The visual art theory can be considered as a vehicle for debate and critical discourse and improve the students scope of analyzing art.
