Abstract
Taman Tamadun Islam (TTI) is an Islamic civilisation park was built on Wan Man Island, Kuala Terengganu, in the north eastern part of Malaysia. This island which has an area of 33 hectares was previously uninhabited and filled with palm forest. This research has conducted to provide solutions to the theme park in line with the current technologies to revitalize the existing religious theme park of Taman Tamadun Islam by promoting cultural values and improve the economy of local community through smart landscape approach. As a tourism destination in Terengganu, this project is focusing to apply smart landscape approach that can increase human interaction and connectivity between spaces, boost tow-ism with local culture activities that can generate income of local community and create spaces for human and nature intervention that can improve visual quality and function of space.
