FFF114 : Cinephoto / College of Creative Arts

This course introduces students to the fundementals concept of photography techniques which plays an important role in filmmaking process. This course primarily emphasis on the fundamental rules in making a feature film, documentary, short films, video production and etc. as well as the concept of storytelling which derives from understanding the basic framing, composition and storyboarding in still movie photography. Inspirations of storytelling arise from a single photo that can be developed into a full length script By the the end of the course, students will be exposed to the basic foundation of lighting and cinematography and understand the philosophy behind a single frame before proceeding towards multiple frames.
