Abstract
Malaysia unsung heroes is behind the scene who sacrifice everything for country, including life, property and a family. This research was highlight one of Malayan Unsung Hero who was honour the country’s homeland in the Japanese occupation era. Her sacrifices and donations are not recognized by Malaysian nowadays. She is, Sybil Medan Daly Kathigasu one of nine heroes who have contributed to the country in the process of gaining independence. She is a nurse to her husband, Dr Abdon Clement Kathigasu also known as Dr Kathigasu. This couple is one of who were supplied medicines to the needy regardless of race and religion. After being captured by Japs, Sybil and her husband were tortured because the couple helped residents including the guerrillas at the time. Therefore, the objective of this study is to embed Sybil Kathigasu story by using visual form as the latest alternative to introduce to public especially for a new generation. Additionally, researcher found that to include Sybil Kathigasu in the History Education textbook for secondary school. This effort has also been extended to the Ministry of Education Malaysia (MoE). For the process of obtaining information, researchers only use a qualitative method which is researcher have conducted (3) three interview sessions with respondents. In conclusion, researcher found that the story of Sybil Kathigasu can give side impact for historical in Malaysia especially for young generation to realize the existence of a war-heroine in the past.
