Abstract
This study aims to examine the recycling intention among students at Universiti Teknologi Mara Pahang, Jengka campus. There were 234 questionnaires distributed at Universiti Teknologi Mara Pahang, Jengka campus and only 150 were returned. Based on the article that was published by University of Wollongong on 2001, Vika Lutui reported that the Kingdom of Tonga faces critical problems with regards to managing waste. Increasing generation of solid waste in the household accompanying the changes in the Tongan lifestyle with a dependence on imported tinned and packaged goods, far exceeds the island Kingdom's ability and capability for safe disposal. Littering in the household and throughout the Kingdom is a persistent problem despite various clean-up and anti-litter promotional campaigns and programs run by government organizations, non-government organizations and other community groups. The research design used in descriptive and correlational research. This study used the Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) version 20.0 for the data analysis. There are three factors of student intention towards recycling which are attitudes, subjective norms and perceived control. The respondent of this study were the student at Universiti Teknologi Mara Pahang, Jengka campus.
