FET232 : Painting media & technique: shape / College of Creative Arts

Media And Technique - Shape. Fundamentally, this course able to recognize the characteristic of shape and choose the proper process and applying the right media and technique to produce the artworks related with the formal aspects through observation. Shape is analyzed through the aspect of color, volume, concave and convex, space and location. The technique apply is by using watercolor and oil painting techniques with emphasize on the process of drawing. Such approaches are dealt with in order to have a better grasp in linking subject matter, media and techniques towards an integrated and deeper understanding both in the processes and the techniques involved in creating and producing works for the final project.
