FES510 : Advanced pattern making / College of Creative Arts

The course provides students the understanding of the principles and concepts of made to measure in men’s and ladies’ pattern and garment making. Students will learn the pattern structure and garment assembly processes through the use of flat pattern and test-fit methods. Students will gain knowledge, understanding and skills pertaining to the processes of making made to measure garments. The course will demonstrate use of tools and equipment with regards to statutory safety of professional practices.
