Abstract
Roof construction plays a big role in the development of all kinds of building either residential, industrial, educational and others. This report will discuss and focused on the construction of roof for residential building. The types of roofs used is crucial to ensure the safety of the building occupants. Not only that, the roofing materials also plays an important part in making sure the building occupants can stay comfort inside the house without having any problems. Roofing materials can be divided into many types such as roof tiles, u-roll bond, zinc and many more. For this report, the project that has been observed is a single-story house that uses roof tiles as for the roofing material. As for this report, the construction project that has been chosen is a Single-Story Bungalow House that was located at Kampung Perepat, Kapar and this house is owned by En. Nahathir. The objective of this report is to identify the method of the roof installation by using roof tiles. Moreover, this report also will be discussed on the time taken for the roof installation to be completed. Lastly, it is also to investigate the advantages and disadvantages of using roof tiles for the roofing materials.
