Abstract
Tiles finishes is one of the important part in any building construction. This report will discuss about tiles finishes for residential building. There are many types of materials for tiles which is ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles, glass tiles and a few more. As we can see, most of the buildings in Malaysia using ceramic and porcelain tiles because it is cheaper than others but the quality still on top. In this report, the construction project has been chosen is a Single - Storey House at Kg. Melayu Subang, Selangor which is En. Hidzuan as the owner. In this report will be discussed the method of the tiles installation, the time taken for the tiles installation complete and the last one is the benefits and the disadvantages choosing ceramic and porcelain tiles for finishing.
