Industrial training exposed the students towards actual working environment to enhance student knowledge and skill from what had been learn in the university. Additionally, this will foster in students a sense of responsibility, confidence, and integrity. This industrial training equips students to apply the concepts they have learned while working to improve both their technical and communication skills. Within a particular of 24 weeks' time-frame, the training indicates real time exposure of the engineering world to the student. This also shows them that it is mandatory for professionalism and building soft skills. Students may perform basic engineering practices during handling a project or generating proposal that will be beneficial for their experience. Thus, higher ethical and accountability can dissolve in person as they are practicing engineering for the betterment of industries. In this industrial training final report, I will elaborate more on my experience working with Polycire (M) Sdn. Bhd. as an internship. The little peek of the background of the company also included in this report. As I was placed in the QC department for my industrial training, I was exposed the real life on hoe the paint industry works. I was able to correlate my job with what I have learnt before in the university. Therefore, I can apply the knowledge into the job given to me while working as the Quality Controller in Polycure. Besides that, I also gained some new knowledge which is related to sales. In conclusion, this industrial training provides me with great working experience. I am very thankful as now I am able to know the real environment of industrial world and is exposed to how does the paints industry works. This industrial training also helps me improving my technical and communication skills while working with strangers. Lastly, I also able to relate the theories that I have learnt during my studies into the real working-life. Hence, this industrial training is very beneficial to students as they can gain more knowledge and experience while finishing their industrial training.
