EPC522 : Communication through drama / Academy of Language Studies

This course focuses on drama as a tool for improving communication skills. It is designed to allow students to develop an awareness of and improve communication in different registers through spoken English. Language learning is combined with practical classes in voice, sensory awareness, movement, and acting. The language sessions focus on speaking and listening skills; the expansion of vocabulary and pronunciation. The course is very practical and aims to build up students’ confidence and skills in using English in ways that are creative. This course also emphasizes on critical thinking and appreciation of aesthetic values.
