Abstract
The nursing profession in the through of revolutionary change, a time when nursing leaders are frantically preoccupied with change itself. However, change is not always a welcomed guest in the nursing profession. Change is real, accelerating, and driven by rapid technological innovation, the globalization of the health care industry, and not the least of it, the arrival of the Internet and the new domain of Internet Healthcare Information. In addition, the nursing profession is involved in receding, shifting and evolving paradigms. Normally, nursing profession is more focus with female compare to male. This is because, people believe that nursing profession is more suitable with female because they think female are more responsible to do nursing task and they are more caring to the patients whereas gender is found as more suitable with more challenging work. This paper will determine the perception of nursing students towards the entry of male nurses in government and private hospitals.
