Abstract
This sculpture installation artwork is a beautiful representation of the cooperation and re- spect between Malaysia and Indonesia. It combines the aesthetic components of Malaysia’s national flower, the hibiscus, and Bali’s national flower, the Cambodian or Japanese flower, to create a stunning visual display that represents the cultural and natural unity between both nations. The hibiscus symbolizes the principle of national unity and integration in Malaysia, while the Cambodian or Japanese flower represents identity, beauty, and purity of heart in Bali, Indonesia. By fusing the iconography of these two flowers, this artwork aims to convey the cultural values and natural beauty of both countries. Moreover, this piece of art uses natural materials like bamboo, rattan, and other environmentally friendly materials as a medium to reflect the significance of environmental sustainability in both countries. This makes the art project more sustainably constructed and serves as a reminder of the value of protecting the environment and our cultural history. Overall, this artwork is a beautiful representation of cultural diversity, natural cooperation, and environmental sustainability. It aims to increase awareness of these values and serves as an inspiration to viewers.
