CTT464 : Children theatre / College of Creative Arts

This course introduces students to the fundamentals of children’s theater. Students are exposed to various approaches and styles of children’s theater that appeal to young children. Students are trained to be creative in generating ideas for a performance that emphasize on educational values. Students are required to perform a children’s theater in selected primary schools under the THEATER IN EDUCATION (TIE) plan. This plan is to give students industrial exposures and experience hence students are able to obtain valuable practical knowledge. Basic understandings and knowledge of children’s psychology for the course is essential.
