Abstract
This course aims to provide an overview of directing a play. There are six fundamentals of directing will be looked at namely actors, composition, picturization, movement, rhythm and pantomimic dramatization. Students will be exposed to analyze a text, translate the ideas and concepts of a text into a stage performance; once this is achieved, students are given the opportunity to handle the actors in the rehearsals space.
