Abstract
This course introduces students to the development of Malaysian cinema: both, industrial and textual (the forming of film as social-culture). Its development shaped and forms Malaysian cinema as a whole. Thus, the course will explore aspect of cinematic values, technologies, as well as elements of its industrial and textual culture.
