Information literacy of Library of Sultan Badlishah (PSB) user: an investigation among post diploma students' UiTM Kedah / Jamatuladauyah Abdul Hamid

Research is carried out in UiTM Kedah among post diploma student'. The purpose of this research is to investigate on the information literacy among post diploma student UiTM Kedah In PSB associated with the relationship between Independent vanables and dependent variable. The independent variables are divided into informabon sources, information searching strategies, and digital literacy while the dependent vanable 1s Information literacy This paper adopt a descriptive statistic method and covers the 400 post diploma students of four courses in three faculty are Faculty of Administrative Science and Policy Studies, Faculty of Information Management and Faculty of Business Management from Which a sample of 196 respondent is drawn. A questionnaire tagged "Information literacy of Library of Sultan Badlishah (PSB) User: An Investigation among Post Diploma Students' In UiTM Kedah" is designed to collect data for the paper The reveals that almost of the respondent have ability in informatJon literacy. The research will enable librarians, administration and stat( in University to intensify their efforts to educate students on how and where to search and locate information and how to evaluate and use information to meet their information needs.
