CTF133 : Research writing / College of Creative Arts

UiTM, College of Creative Arts CTF133 : Research writing / College of Creative Arts. [Teaching Resource]

Abstract

This course equips students with the basic skills needed for the research writing process. It helps students identify subject matters or subject areas that they are interested in and guides them to narrow the scope of their interest into an achievable research topic. Researching these topics involves identifying sources such as from reference in books, journals, magazines or the internet. The next process is writing and synthesizing all this information into a comprehensible written piece that is clear. Students are also required to assess, rewrite, quote and revise their written work. This will ultimately assist them in producing a worthwhile research, written according to a standard academic format.
