Reinforcement concrete work on the ground beams and columns / Mohamad Fazli Zamzam

This report overall explains the steps and the elements that are related to concreting work on the columns and ground beam in the construction of twenty-five blocks (25), fifety units of detached houses at Pusat Penyelidikan Dan Pertanian Tun Razak (PPPTR), Sg. Tekam, Jerantut Pahang. Experience undergoing practical training at the construction site during the construction process gives me knowledge to serve as a guide in preparing this report.The use of reinforced concrete in a construction is no longer a new thing in construction works nowadays.Reinforced concrete which is designed based on the principles of reinforcement and concrete act in tandem to receive the load. Accordingly, the reinforced concrete workability must be taken seriously in the construction as it affects the strength of the load-bearing members.In this report, it also explains in brief about the formation of steel bar for the reinforcement of building. Next, an explanation is given of how preparation of the formwork was conducted. This is followed by an explanation of tests involving concrete and their result from the laboratory. After concrete work has been done, several problems that are related to the concrete are solved and this report ends with some suggestion which can overcome the problems that occur. Conclusion, this report can explain more details about the procedures and the elements for concreting work.
