ALS630 : Advances reading / Academy of Language Studies

This course is designed to refine and improve students’ critical reading, thinking and writing skills. It focuses on increased analytical, inferential and evaluative comprehension, employing effective reading and writing skills. Emphasis is given to reading into writing tasks including reading systematically and critically examining a variety of academic texts to write a literature review. at the end of the course, the students will demonstrate their knowledge and skills required by creating a secondary research poster.
