ADE181 : Water colour painting / College of Creative Arts

In this course students will learn on how to paint pictures by using watercolor. The students will be exposed to the basic principles of using tools, materials, and techniques in watercolor painting. Students will be given several exercises to develop their skills, knowledge and appreciation towards the subject. All the exercises will be conducted hands-on and in the form of a problem- based approach. The students will also be guided in conducting their visual research, and preparing a portfolio of artworks. Students final project will be based on a particular theme to emphasize light and form. Guidance and assessment will be conducted continuously throughout the semester.
