Abstract
Safety is really an important needs that must be included in the neighbourhood area. It has been included in the Maslow’s hierarchy that stated one of the basic needs that must have in order to ensure the quality of life is safety and security. Based on Social Integration Model, in order to inhibit fear of crime among neighbourhood, there are various characteristics that must be embedded in neighbourhood area which are neighbourhood cohesion, social control (willingness to intervene also sense of community (Okunola and Amole, 2012). Thus, the research aim to study on the sense of community, neighbourhood cohesion also willingness to intervene in the neighbourhood area and whether it has influence towards residents perception of safety.
